The report was supported through direct engagement between MSC, ITA, and independent assessors from Green Horizons Ltd during a site visit to MSC’s Malaysian operations in November 2025. The visit provided an opportunity to review implementation of Tin Code standards on-site, support evidence collection, and discuss future priorities across ESG-related areas.
ITA thanked the MSC team for its openness, collaboration, and constructive engagement throughout the assessment process, noting that continued reporting and ESG implementation remain important for strengthening transparency and continuous improvement across the global tin industry.
As one of the world’s longest-established tin smelting companies, MSC’s continued participation in the Tin Code demonstrates its commitment to sustainable and responsible tin production and strengthening confidence in the global tin supply chain.
